Orville preceded Virgilee in death on June 28, 1997. Springer was a member of the United Methodist Church in Elk City, the United Methodist Women, Gingham Aprons F. She was devoted to her family and hosted many meals for them and always had homemade ice cream in the freezer. She loved to share her gift of painting and sewing beautiful quilts with family and friends. An avid reader, she could share a devotion or lesson when asked.
