Shore Acres Yacht Club provides our fleet with 29 weekends of structured racing throughout the spring, summer, and fall along with a divisional regatta held each year. Contact us at any time if you’re interested in stopping by for a race. If you’re looking to jump on a boat as crew, tune up for the next regatta, or simply take in the racing, shore Acres are always welcome.

SAYC has three Certified Sailing Instructors dedicated to teaching basic sailing skills while focusing on personal development, self-confidence and self-esteem. View SSA Club Meeting Minutes for May 2nd PDF. CNY TRAP LEAGUE practice starts on Monday’s. League shooting starts on April 17 th. The South Shore Association is located on South Bay Road, approximately 1 mile south of Oneida Lake. The club is open 7 days a week year round with a few exceptions.

The hours vary so it’s a good idea to call ahead if you’re thinking about stopping by before 10:00 am, or after 8:00 pm during the week. We have an active club with approximately 950 members. Membership meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 7 pm. Our grounds include the following:  Two Trap Fields that are used year round.

At the August general membership meeting it was announced that the club has purchased the almost 5 acres of land that was for sale that is adjacent to the south of the club. 15 The Club is looking at a proposal to expanding its gun range to 150 yards. 16 work on the range should begin again this spring 2017. 16 range work appears to be done for the year. Lead has been collected and more work is to follow in the spring 2017. 18 Newly redesigned range structure has been completed .

North Shore was formerly North Shore City, a distinct territorial authority district, which was governed by the North Shore City Council from 1989 until 2010, when it was incorporated into Auckland Council.
