The programs offered by Adult Training Services are individualized and encourage the acquisition, improvement, and maintenance of basic vocational training and skills. Serves individuals who were successful in the Adult Training Program and whose vocational skills have developed so that they are able to work successfully with 5 or 6 other individuals in a community work setting. Serves individuals who have been successful in our Mobile Crew Program and who have gained the ability to succeed in a community work-oriented environment with minimal supervision. Hammonton is a town in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States, known as the “Blueberry Capital of the World. Hammonton was settled in 1812 and was named for John Hammond Coffin, a son of one of the community’s earliest settlers, William Coffin, with the “d” in what was originally “Hammondton” disappearing over time. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town had a total area of 41. United States Biosphere Reserve and established by Congress in 1978 as the nation’s first National Reserve. Due to its location in the Pine Barrens, the soil is largely sandy, making it ideal for growing blueberries.
