We’ve recently had an incident where assets got stolen after a user gave his 12-words recovery seed to a site claiming to “check the Bitcoin Gold balance”. While this particular site is not online anymore, these type of scams are prevalent. Whoever has access to your recovery seed has access to all your funds.
