"Roskosmos" published in its Twitter the first images of the Earth's surface, taken by the satellite "Meteor-M", which was launched a week ago from the Vostochny cosmodrome.

Meteor-M meteorological satellite number 2-2 launched the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle last Friday, July 5th. Today, the multi-zone small-resolution scanner has been switched to shooting mode. The device has already made the first good quality images, they were transferred to the developer of the spacecraft, told to the state corporation.

All supporting systems of Meteora-M work in a regular mode, there are no comments to them, they added in Roskosmos.
