Moscow, June 21 – AIF-Moscow.
The launch of the Proton-M launch vehicle with the new Spektr-RG space telescope from Baikonur was postponed for a day.
"We just survive here." Why do Baikonur yearn for Russia?
The Roscosmos report on Twitter said that during the preparation of the Proton-M launch vehicle with the Spektr-RG space observatory, a comment was made, so it was decided to postpone the launch to the backup date.
The rocket was supposed to start from the cosmodrome at 15:17 on Friday Moscow time. It should put into orbit the Russian-German space observatory "Spectr-RG".
During its operation, it is planned that the telescope will detect in space about a hundred thousand massive clusters of galaxies, hundreds of thousands of stars with active corons, about three million supermassive black holes, as well as many other objects.
On May 30, the Proton rocket was launched from Baikonur with the most powerful Russian communications satellite, Yamal-601. A total of five proton launches are scheduled for 2019.
Earlier it was reported that Roskosmos completed the operation of the Spektr-R space telescope because it stopped receiving commands from the Earth.
